UNC Asheville is extending its Condition 2 - Suspended Operations status. The University will remain under Condition 2 until further notice. The University’s condition status will be reassessed Monday morning, with the next update by 12 p.m. on February 2.
All classes and instruction on Monday, February 2 will be fully remote. Essential services, including University Police and Residence Life, will continue to operate.
Brown Hall and Highsmith Student Union are operating under regular business hours.
The Student Recreation Center will be open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
The Health & Counseling Center will be open Monday, February 2, 12 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We will continue to actively monitor any impacts to the community. Changes to the University’s condition status and operations will be communicated through Bulldog Alert.
Slick roads, blowing snow, and dangerously cold wind chills could still make travel difficult. Please be mindful of conditions and use caution when walking on campus. Campus Operations are prioritizing the clearing of sidewalks between Brown Hall and the residence halls. If you do travel, please exercise caution and dress in layers, including a hat, face mask, and gloves.
